Love Deaf Haiti Family Thrives During Chaos

This past year, our Deaf family experienced a 7.2 earthquake, a hurricane, assassination of their president, blockage of import/export by Haitian militia gangs, food and fuel shortages.

Regardless of the Turmoil, our Deaf family and leaders continue to exemplify Psalm 62:5-7: "Let all that I am wait quietly before god, for my hope is in Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. Oh my people, trust in Him at all times. Pour out your heart to Him, for God is our refuge."

New Uniforms Bring Dignity to Deaf Students

A highlight for this past year was a new uniform for each and every student and staff member. These uniforms are a sign of dignity and value within the Haitian culture. What a joy to see the smiles on their faces as they wear their new uniform and shoes around town. Thank you Samanda, and David for all your hard work in Haiti. And to Maura Jackson, right here in the United States who gave sewing instruction over Zoom. Isn't technology amazing!!!!

Hard Work Brings Joy for Deaf Workers

Your monetary donation, along with the joyful manual labor of our deaf family are making their dream a reality. An on-site resident apartment will come to fruition thanks to the hard work and dedication of various deaf construction workers. This on-site resident will provide 24 hour protection and supervision for our deaf students.

Kidnapping in Haiti - Update

Praise God! The 17 missionaries who were abducted in October managed to reach freedom during the night of December 15th. We are grateful to our Lord for their safe physical return. At the same time we're reminded that Jesus offers spiritual freedom when we have faith in Him.

2 Corinthians 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Sprit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Deaf Leaders Never Waiver

When technology connection prevails in Haiti, weekly face-to-face communication among the Deaf Haiti leadership is carried out in their natural language. The love Deaf Haiti leaders Donalt, Jacob, as well as our own pastor Jeff Jackson (pictured left to right) continue to lead with unwavering faith.

Please pray for wisdom as they continue with the daily operation of Love Deaf Hait, Inc
