OUR CHURCH
One of the greatest battles being waged in Haiti is the spiritual war against Voodo amongst many other evil practices. For these reasons it was our desire to build a church for the Deaf people of Haiti, in their heart language, native sign language, so that they can know Christ as their personal Savior and fight the spiritual battle.

CHURCH HISTORY
After preaching from his porch for ten years and scrimping and saving, Jacob and his two close friends bought land and built a temporary wooden structure in 2012. Since that time, American Deaf and hearing churches have partnered in the support of the humble beginnings pioneered by Pastor Jacob.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
We currently have about 100 Deaf believers that join us for service on Sunday. This includes our Deaf students and staff as well as other Deaf people in the community. Due to this being the only Deaf church in Les Cayes, many walk for miles so that they can attend. After service everyone gathers for a time of fellowship and share a meal together
